I truly enjoy writing and reviewing items that I post on Reflections of Light, but it takes a lot of time to provide quality content. To compensate myself for my time, I use affiliate programs to earn small commissions. Not all of links I use are monetized, but for clarity I wanted to provide information for my readers. All of these programs are free for both bloggers and readers to be involved in.
Shopsense:
Reflections of Light is affiliated by Shopsense, a program that pays a small amount (usually 5 cents) to a blogger every time a reader clicks a link. Shopsense links can be differentiated by the URL, which reads “http://www.shopstyle.com…”.
Reward Style:
Reflections of Light is affiliated by Reward Style, a program that pays a small commission to a blogger only if a reader purchases through a link. Reward Style links can be differentiated by the URL, which reads “http://rstyle.me…”.
Shopzilla/Beso
Reflections of Light is affiliated by Shopzilla/Beso, a program that pays a small commission when readers click on a link. I use this program the least because I find it more difficult to use, and it doesn’t allow me to save my favorite items and track sales on items that I’d like to buy. Occasionally, I will use it though. Shopzilla/Beso links can be differentiated by the URL, which reads “”http://www.bizrate.com…”.
I write my posts completely based on the products I believe in. My opinions are not swayed by my affiliations. In fact, many of my links to products have no affiliations or compensation associated with them.
