When I was traveling about a week ago, I saw a woman at the Minneapolis airport wearing a bright pink high-low dress. It caused me to have a major dress crush. I wanted to ask the woman where she got her dress because it looked so lovely as she dashed through the airport concourse, but I didn’t think she would appreciate me inconveniencing her. I’ve been dreaming about, googling, and searching for high-low dresses ever since. What I’ve found is, high-low dresses are made in many different prints and colors. I’ve found them in all sizes and lengths and for all occasions. There seems to be something for most, if not all. Yet, I still haven’t found MY high-low dress. :( I’ll just have to keep searching.
In the image above, I chose mostly casual, summer, sleeveless styles because where I live summer is short, so these types of dresses are like an indulgent treat. That said, you don’t have to pay a lot to get a high-low dress or skirt. Yippee! :) If you find yourself still looking, I found more solid color and printed dresses for $50 dollars or less at Piperlime and Forever 21 both on sale and at regular price, so you might try these retailers as well. Here’s the info on the dresses above:
Row 1 from left to right:
1. Black and White Stripes, $158
3. Thin Black and White Stripes,$18
4. Colorblock Maxi Dress, $168
5. Silk Chiffon Tiered Dress, $498
Row 2 from left to right:
1. Pleated Halter Dress, $119.25
3. Colorblock Halter Dress, $158
Goal Update:
I was active outside for more than 20 minutes today, so 1 day down, 20 to go. Well, actually I’m only doing 5 days a week, but you know what I mean. :) How about you? Did you spend some time doing something that makes you happy today?
Share your light!

Does 15 minutes to and from work and shopping in an outdoor mall count? I was outside shopping and walking for almost 2 hours! I’ll do real exercise by Thursday (tomorrow’s going to be crazy). And I hope you find the right dress!
I’d say count it! :)
